According to the latest statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to February 2026, China's automobile exports continued to show strong growth momentum, with a cumulative total of 1.352 million units exported, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 48.4%. Among this, February alone saw 672,000 units exported, up 52.4% year-on-year, maintaining high-level performance. Within the overall export figures, new energy vehicles stood out particularly, with a combined total of 583,000 units exported in the first two months, representing a 110% year-on-year growth and accounting for over 40% of total exports, becoming the core driver of automobile export growth. A relevant official from the CAAAM stated that China's complete automobile industrial chain and its notable advantages in new energy and intelligent technologies position the country to maintain steady growth in future automobile exports.
